  •  Every year on October 15, World Students Day is celebrated all over the world.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 8th edition of the International Telecommunication Union’s ‘ World Telecommunication Standards Conference – 2024′ and ‘ India Mobile Congress’ in New Delhi on October 15.
  • India has expelled six diplomats, including  Canada ‘s acting High Commissioner Stewart Ross Wheeler.
  • ‘Audio Visual Co-production Agreement’between India and Colombia will be signed on 15 October in New Delhi.
  •  External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will visit Pakistan on October 15 to attend  the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.
  • India will host  the ‘ ISSF Junior World Cup’ in the year 2025.
  • ‘Telangana’ has become the third state in India to launch caste survey.
  •  On the 37th death anniversary of Kishore Kumar, veteran film producer, director and screenwriter ‘ Rajkumar Hirani’ has been honoured with the  ‘ National Kishore Kumar Award’ .
  • NASA has launched  its largest spacecraft ever, ‘ Europa Clipper’ .
  • The Commission for Air Quality Management has implemented Phase-I of the Graded Response Action Plan across the national capital region after the air quality index peaked at 234, which is in the ‘poor’ category.
  • Telangana Women and Child Welfare Minister D. Anasuya Sitakka has launched  ‘Rojgar Portal’ for the disabled.
  •  Recently S Parameshwara has been appointed as the Chief of the Indian Coast Guard.
  • External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar inaugurated  the ‘ e-Migrate V2.0 web portal’ and ‘ mobile app’ on 14 October in Delhi.
