  • Every year on October 18, ‘World Menopause Day‘ is celebrated all over the world.
  •  India has provided a loan of over Rs 487 crore to Mauritius for the  ‘ Water Pipeline Replacement Project‘ .
  • India International Centre’s 20th annual festival ‘IIC Anubhav Kala Ka Utsav‘ will be held in New Delhi from October 18. The theme of this five-day event is “Kalpavriksha-Nationalist Movement, Freedom and Identity.”
  • The Central Board of Direct Taxes has amended the Income Tax rules for salaried employees. These are aimed at simplifying the process of tax collection at source and credit claim for taxes deducted.
  •  India’s ‘ Vivaan Kapoor’ won the silver medal in the trap event in the Shooting World Cup Final on 17 October.

  •  SEBI has announced the launch of ‘ Liquidity Window Facility’ in debt securities through stock exchange mechanism . Please note that the liquidity window facility will start from November 1.
