Key Responsibilities of the Role

Eligibility Criteria

1. Employment Background

Candidates must be currently employed in Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories, and fulfill one of the following conditions:

  • Hold an analogous post in their parent department on a regular basis, OR

  • Have six years of regular service in Level-5 of the Pay Matrix (₹29,200 – ₹92,300).

2. Educational Qualifications

  • Industrial Training Certificate: A two-year ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle from a recognized institution, OR

  • Apprenticeship: A three-year National/State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle Trade.

  • Experience: A minimum of three years of practical experience in motor vehicle mechanics.

3. Medical Standards

Applicants must meet the CRPF’s medical standards categorized as “SHAPE-I”.

4. Age Limit

  • The maximum age for applicants should not exceed 56 years as of the application deadline.
